Parole Officer demands stopping subox
Jul 9th, 2008 | By acca | Category: medical discussionsLatest Comment by tiredone47: I thank you for writing this. You spent a lot of time justifying the suboxone treatment for this individual. The treatment has been a lifesaver for me. I am on parole myself, and last year I had to have a surgical procedure, which in turn required a period of time when I had to use opiates for pain…significant pain. When the time came to stop the medication as instructed by my physician I was already “hooked” again. I immediately and without delay went into the suboxine treatment. I am starting the taper now and so far so good. I am just concerned about it because my parole officer did a UA last week on me and the opiate line showed up very faint…so faint that the Xerox copy of the bars on the drug test did not even show the opiate bar. However, she did tell me that I might need to bring in my medication names next month when I report. Now I’m scared they will revoke my parole because I did not mention to them that I had been on this treatment plan. I mean is it legal for them to revoke my parole when I am taking a prescription that is prescribed to me under a legitimate program? I am really scared. I too have got a wonderful and productive life, have recently been promoted within my company, transferred to another city and received an ,000 a year increase in my salary. How can anyone call me a failure…I sure don’t feel like one. I did when I was on the hydrocodone though. I feel a total success. Can someone advise me what I need to do? I feel the need to be honest with my parole officer. I really do. I don’t like to lie or withhold anything from her., Parole Officer demands stopping subox, http://www.medworm.com/rss/comments.php?return=medicaldiscussions.php&id=1320606, http://www.medworm.com/rss/medicaldiscussions.php?rss=1, MedWorm: Current Discussions on Medical News and Literature,
